Experiencing the wonderful world of academic research
Thanks to our partnership with Tel Aviv University, EMIS students stepped into the shoes of local university students to experience what the research community of TAU has to offer. We met and learned from top professors, learned what the libraries have to offer a young researcher, and explored the facilities.
PreDP students visited the Botanical Gardens and Nature and Science Museum, an active center of documentation and science of the natural world, while DP1 and DP2 students were introduced to research libraries and databases available to them in the course of their studies at EMIS. The day ended with a group scavenger hunt designed by teachers, allowing the students to explore the entire campus and think about what their lives on a university campus might look like one day.
