The beauty of learning beyond the classroom walls
Nature, culture and perspectives – a month into the school year, the students enjoy a day trip which introduces them to the surrounding region and gives them time to get to know each other better.
The day started with a visit to a Druze village to learn about different communities and belief systems in the region, a tour of the Hai Bar Carmel nature reserve, and a hike in the Carmel Mountains. We experienced beautiful views of sea and forest, learning about the local mediterranean ecosystem, as well a peek into geology and the human history of natural caves.
This trip is a yearly tradition that promotes real-world learning and exploration while bringing our school values to life.
