Tips for a Smooth Application Process
Make your EMIS application journey easy and successful by following these simple tips:
Use your own email address
On page 2 of the OpenApply form, enter your own (student/applicant) details as an “Other Guardian.”
This will allow you to log in and track your application using your personal email.
Prepare your essays in advance
Write and edit your essays in a separate document before uploading them to the application form.
Support your scholarship request
Upload three recent salary slips from each parent to strengthen your financial aid application.
Find all forms online
Most required forms are available directly on OpenApply — but if you can’t find something, email us and we’ll help or upload them directly for you.
Ask your school to act fast
Make sure your school sends the recommendation and evaluation forms as soon as possible to avoid delays.
Be patient and stay in touch
The full process — from application submission to decision — typically takes 3 to 8 weeks.
